The Capital Chapter is one of the oldest among the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, founded in 1959, barely one year after our national Club began. Back then Alfas were rare — hard to find, difficult to maintain, challenging to understand — and the Club gave enthusiasts a place to learn how to keep them happy, and to exchange knowledge and parts, and to share their passion. There are many more of the cars now, both vintage and modern, and their owners still enjoy having a Club to connect us with each other so we can learn more about cars, events, and opportunities.
If you are an Alfa owner yourself, or someone interested in this century-old Italian automotive brand, we’d love to get to know you and share the thrills of the open road, the show field, and the track!
The Alfa Romeo Owners Club is a national organization. You can join the Club at www.aroc-usa.org. If you live in our region (Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia), select the Maryland MD (Chapter 04) Capital Chapter AROC membership, to sign on to our Chapter at no additional cost. We look forward to keeping you updated on our events, the AROC National Convention, and unique opportunities offered by our sponsors and regional Alfa Romeo studios.
2020/2021 Capital Chapter il calendario Events
Thank you for your patience and understanding as our Club prioritized member and community safety by suspending in-person events this spring and summer. Chapter Officers have been paying close attention to what other AROC chapters and car clubs are doing, and we are going to begin offering events that can hopefully be both enjoyable and safe.

We welcome cars from Virginia, Maryland, the District and beyond. The DC Italian Car Show typically draws cars from Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, Maserati, Autobianchi, and Siata, as well as Italian motorcycles. We look forward to seeing 100+ shiny examples of local Italian automotive art on display in 2021. Car Show Address: Nottoway Park, 91537 Courthouse Rd., Vienna, VA.

Alfas for Sale, Alfas to Buy!
Both Alfas are still available as of November 15, 2020. NEW chapter benefit! Capital Chapter members, if you have an Alfa that you are looking to sell, please forward the information to BrewThack@gmail.com to list it on the CapitalAlfa.org website.
Kai Hertz contacted me about a complete 1975 Alfa Romeo Spider he has for sale. The car has been sitting in a garage for 25 years. This 45 year-old looks to me to be quite worth the effort to revive! Some lower rust but not horrid. Really nice interior. I have photos I can share. He is eager to move it quickly and open to any offers. Please contact him directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and let him know you heard about it from Brewster.
I know of an exceptional 19,500 mile 1991 Spider for sale in DC. Red with tan interior. The seller has owned it since 1999, always garaged. I am helping him prepare it to list it on Bring a Trailer, where a Spider with similar miles recently sold for $24,000. Please contact me for more information, BrewThack@gmail.com or 703/508-4418.
November updates| Frank Smith’s Alfa parts — It was Frank’s hope that some of his collection of spares and parts would be gifted to chapter members who could use them. Most are GTV and Duetto parts. I can share photos of those and some of the boxes to give an idea, and will to the best of my ability arrange a time or two to meet with anyone that wants to look through the items. I will be bringing some of the remainder to my place so we can further distribute them.
